About session of the Peking Club of customs attaches

On December, 14th, 2010 in the city of Manchuria (People’s Republic of China) exit session of the Peking International Customs Attache’ Club formed in 2008 by the Main customs office of the People’s Republic of China and customs representatives of the foreign states accredited in Beijing took place.

Organizers of the meeting Konstantin Toporkov, the temporary co-chairman of the Peking Club and the Main Customs Directorate of the People’s Republic of China in the name of the deputy chief of International management of the Main Customs Directorate of the People’s Republic of China, the chairman of Club Chzhao Zhusja acted as representative of FCS of Russia in the People’s Republic of China.

Customs attaches and representatives of customs services of Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, France, Finland, Japan came from Beijing to Manchuria for participation in a profit meeting.

Customs service of Russia was represented by the delegation of Alexander Smelyakov, the head of PR Directorate, Vladimir Ivin, the chief of Analytical Directorate, Denis Nefedov, the secretary of the Moscow International Customs Attache’ Club / chief of department of Customs Cooperation Directorate.

During a meeting participants of session familiarized with the organization of work of Manchuria customs directly on the Chinese-Russian site of border in the international railway and automobile check point of Manchuria-Zabaykalsk.

Also they discussed pressing questions of customs control over the cargoes moved in this largest overland check point between China and Russia.

Thereupon the particular interest at foreign customs diplomats was shown to changes in the customs legislation of Russia occurred as a result of formation of the Customs Union.

For the purpose of an explanation of realities of the Customs union within the limits of Club session the round table was conducted on which the chief of Analytical Management of FCS of Russia Vladimir Ivin acted with presentation and the report.

Also within the limits of the meeting the secretary of the Moscow Club sounded offers on cooperation adjustment between Moscow and Peking Customs Attache’ Club which found support from participants of session.
