Meeting with foreign business

April, 23, Secretary of State – Deputy Head of the Russian FCS Konstantin Chayka held a meeting with representatives of foreign companies, doing business in Russia. The meeting was attended by more than 60 CEOs and top-managers of foreign companies, representatives of associations.  

The Russian FCS renews meetings with international business, according to Konstantin Chayka. Such meetings will be held regularly.

Chief of Research Authority Vladimir Ivin spoke on urgent questions of the Concept of Customs Clearance and Control at Places, Adjacent to the RF State Border implementation. He answered some questions, connected with realization of the Concept in Moscow and called business for cooperation. For instance, improvement of customs stations operation requires temporary storage warehouses synchronization, these business establishments being not always willing to accept two-shift schedule. He also touched upon practical aspects of the Customs Union organization. 

Representatives of business units of the Russian FCS central office spoke of the prospects of One Window Principle application; advance information sharing introduction; improvement of customs duties payment system; customs value correcting; mechanism of state and private partnership.

Representatives of foreign business were also informed on other urgent questions of customs affairs development.
