Head of the FCS of Russia is a Laureate of “DARIN” award

Alexander Zherikhov, Head of the FCS of Russia, has won the “DARIN” Award of the Russian Academy of Business and Entrepreneurship for his considerable personal contribution to the creation of the customs system, facilitating the development of entrepreneurship in Russia.


He received the award at a solemn ceremony held in the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. Awards from the Russian Academy of Business and Entrepreneurship for 2005 have also been given to: G.S.Poltavchenko, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal Region; N.V.Fedorov, President of the Republic of Chuvashia; A.N.Tkachev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory; A.G.Khloponin, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory; E.V.Panina, Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on economic policy, entrepreneurship and tourism; S.R.Borisov, President of the All-Russia Nongovernmental Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurs “OPORA Russia”; Heads of such companies as “EvrazHolding”, “Mitsui”, “Shell”, “Taganrog Metallurgical Works”, “Russian Aluminium (Rusal)”, “Uralsib”, and “Russian Vegetable Garden”. In the categories of “Business and Art” and “Business-Media”, the awards were presented to Karen Shakhnazarov, Director General of FGUP “Kinoconcern Mosfilm” and to Michael Ermolaev, Chief Editor of “RBC –TV” - the first Russian business-television company.


The “DARIN” Award of the Russian Academy of Business and Entrepreneurship is the oldest business prize in Russia. It was founded in 1995 with the aim of promoting general public recognition of the positive role of business circles in Russian life. The Award is presented annually.
