International Research-to-Practice Conference on Topical Issues of Expert Activity Held by Central Forensic Customs Administration of Russian FCS

From 22nd to 26th of October, 2012 the International Research-to-Practice Conference on the expert activity topical issues took place in the Collegium Hall of the Central Customs Administration of the Russian FCS.

Foreign delegations of Customs experts from Finland, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan took part in the Conference.

According to the International Conference agenda, the topical issues of the expert activity in the domains of forensic processing, equipment and material (substance) identification, statutory and regulatory framework of the expert activity and study of the intellectual property objects were discussed during the plenary meeting.

The representatives of foreign delegations of Customs experts actively participated in the debates about expert activity issues of concern.

The International Conference participants reached the common ground, speaking about the necessity to create an indivisible information space for Customs experts, collaboration by the development of the expert activity methodological basis, as well as about the majority of discussed questions.
