The issues of Russian-Chinese cooperation

On August 28, 2013, the international trade and exhibition complex “Greenwood” hosted the meeting of the Deputy Head of the FCS of Russia, Ruslan Davydov, with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China in Russia, Mr. Li Hui, during which the sides discussed topical issues of Russian-Chinese customs cooperation

The meeting was timed to coincide with the opening of the 4th Russian-Chinese seminar on “Customs control and customs registration: the practice of work of Russian and Chinese customs authorities,” organized by the Federal Customs Service and the Chief Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China.

The event was attended by representatives of the FCS of Russia, the Chief Administration of Customs of China, the center for education and training of customs personnel of the People’s Republic of China, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russia, as well as representatives of the Russian and Chinese participants of foreign economic activity.

The Russian-Chinese seminar became an important platform for discussion of current issues of customs clearance and customs control in the customs services of Russia and China. The speakers paid much attention to electronic declaration, customs fees and approaches to categorization of foreign economic activity used by customs authorities of the People’s Republic of China.
