Russia and Turkey are successfully implementing the project “Simplified customs corridor”

On September 12, 2013, the Head of the FCS of Russia, Andrei Belyaninov, met the counselor of the Minister of Customs and Trade of the Republic of Turkey, Ziya Altunyaldyz, in Moscow to discuss the issues concerning the implementation of the project “The simplified customs corridor.” The project provides for the acceleration and simplification of customs procedures for bona fide participants of foreign economic activity and is currently being implemented in Vnukovo Customs House.

During the meeting, Andrei Belyaninov and Ziya Altunyaldyz discussed the implementation of the project “The simplified customs corridor” and agreed to implement the project at the customs post of the International Automobile Cross-Border Post Troebortnoye of Bryansk Customs House (the Central Customs Administration) and at the port of Tuapsinskiy of Krasnodar Customs House (the Southern Customs Administration) October 15, 2013.

During the meeting, the participants also agreed to further coordinate the implementation of the project in the Verkhniy Lars- Kazbegi checkpoint of the North Ossetia Customs House (the North Caucasus Customs Administration) from January 1, 2014.

On the same day, a seminar on the implementation of the project “The simplified customs corridor,” was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Russian Federation, during which Andrei Belyaninov and Ziya Altunyaldyz answered the questions of Turkish and Russian businessmen.
