The deputy head of the FCS of Russia met with the head of the Directorate for monitoring compliance with the legislation and simplifying of the WCO

On October 24, 2013, during the XIV Annual Exhibition “Customs – 2013,” Ruslan Davydov, the deputy head of the FCS of Russia met with Zhu Gaochzhan, the head of the Directorate for monitoring compliance with the legislation and simplifying of the WCO.

During the talks, the sides discussed the priority projects of the World Customs Organization, where the FCS of Russia is involved, including the improvement of the Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade (SAFE), the role of regional structures of the World Customs Organization, the development of the concept of the Global Customs Network, etc.

In addition, during the meeting, the Russian side explained the position of the FCS of Russia associated with changes in the customs procedure of transit of goods with the use of TIR Carnets.
