The first deputy head of the FCS of Russia took part in the meeting of the heads of customs and tax services of BRICS countries

On November 5-7, 2013, Vladimir Malinin, the first deputy head of the FCS of Russia, took part in the meeting of the heads of customs and tax services of BRICS countries held in Rio De Janeiro (Brazil).

During the meeting, the issues of cooperation between customs and tax administrations in order to ensure collection of customs duties and taxes in full, automatization of processes of tax and customs audit, implementation of advanced information technologies in the customs affairs, interaction with businessmen were discussed.

Following the results of the meeting, the joint application of the heads of delegations was signed.

In addition, during the visit, Vladimir Malinin held some bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations of BRICS countries, as well as negotiations with Carlos Baretto, the head of the State Revenues Service of Brazil, during which prospective directions of Russian-Brazilian customs cooperation were defined.
