|The Head of the FCS of Russia discusssed the issues of bilateral cooperation with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation|
A meeting of the Head of the FCS of Russia Vladimir Bulavin with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation Pankadz Saran took place on February 06, 2017, in Moscow, in order to disscuss the issues of bilateral cooperation in the customs sphere.
During the meeting, the parties considered the issues of development of the Russian-Indian cooperation in the customs sphere and particularly the practical aspects of implementation of the Green Corridor Project. The corresponding report was signed by the Customs Services of Russia and India in 2015.
Vladimir Bulavin and Pankadz Saran also discussed the prospects of simplification of the customs formalities in relation to the goods, transported via the North-South International Transport Corridor. At present, the project of the corresponding international agreement is being agreed.
Based on the outcomes of the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue the practice of holding joint seminars on the topical issues of the customs administration for the participants of the foreign economic activity.
