Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Vladimir Bulavin took part in the international forum «One belt - one road» in Beijing

In the period from May 13 to May 15, 2017, the delegation of the FCS of Russia headed by the head officer Vladimir Bulavin visited the capital of the People's Republic of China - the city of Beijing to participate in the «One Belt - One Road» international forum.

At the thematic session of the forum "Trade without Borders" Vladimir Bulavin made a report on multilateral projects that the FCS of Russia is implementing jointly with the General Administration of Customs of China (GAC of China). The main attention was paid to the multilateral project of mutual recognition of the customs control results with the participation of the customs services of China, Kazakhstan, Finland and Mongolia. According to the FCS of Russia, its implementation in the future will allow to reduce the costs of participants in foreign economic activities related to the movement of goods on the new "Silk Road" by one third.

On the fields of the forum Vladimir Bulavin met with the head of the GAC of China Yu Guangzhou. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation between the customs services of Russia and China, in particular the expansion of the project on mutual recognition of the customs control results at the Zabaikalsk-Manchuria border crossing point, new projects of customs services of Russia and China on cooperation in risk management and the exchange of images taken with X-ray inspection complexes, as well as issues of regional interaction.
